My heart you wanted to hold in your hands. I was reluctant to hand over something so very delicate, But I grew to love those hands and their owner. And so, I gave it to you; your's to keep if you so wished.
You seemed to treasure it so, and that, filled me with happiness unlike any other. I thought I would never need it back. But then you grew careless, and it fell. You dropped it on the floor, only to shatter before my feet.
Now I kneel here; left to pick up the shards and pieces alone. And as I do, I am cut; I bleed; And cry.
